Guitar rig presets tom petty download#
Feel free to download and experiment with these Guitar Rig presets. I came up with these presets by tweaking the available components. Guitar Rig is a powerful amp simulation software. it gets better everytime i turn it on.Free downloads ♫ These are Native Instruments’ Guitar Rig presets. sounded huge.Īnyway, the axe is a beast, i'll never buy anything else until the 3 drops, but i dont really see what in the world Cliff could add to this amazing piece of equipment. I used the pitch shift to drop my guitar the half step for this song (and the others).you should have seem their faces with that new layer on the bottom, it was stank face all the way around, lol. they just play it in c# and have never had that drop d guitar on the bottom. one "She's Country" by Jason Aldean it's in drop D a half step down (drop c#). What was also funny was they do a handful of songs that are tuned half step down on the original.for whatever reason they keep them in those keys and just adjust their playing. i had the clr at my feet flat on the floor and could hear fine with PLENTY of volume to spare. drummer right behind me and the other guitar players 4x10 fender on a stand 10 feet from my face and bass players aguilar bass rig in about the same spot. had volume at about 11 o'clock and no trouble keepin up. of course that could be the nature of a gainier preset just not cutting quite the same. MIGHT need to brighten then comet up and raise the level as it seemed to not match the other when i switched. i might need to darken the buttery preset up a bit because it REALLY cut, but i had no complaints and the sound guy said it sounded great. Tons of compliments, sounded and felt fantastic, cut like crazy.
Guitar rig presets tom petty full#
Vol - wah - od1 with x/y settings - Pitch with x/y (octave up for some solo stuff and ptich shift -1 step down for a few songs - trem - phaser - buttery (slightly broken up at full volume) into stereo mix of factory cabs (1x12 ac20 mix and 3x10 vibro mix) - delay with x/y - reverb x/y - null filter for solo boost.Įxact same chain with Comet - stereo mix of 4x12 basketweave tv mix (for me, the go to marshall'ish cab.i use it everytime) and the 4x12 ax mix Set up is guitar - axeII - mfc with two fbv500 exp pedals - Atomic CLR cab I wanted to keep it simple and not set up patches for each song so i went with two basic presets, one for the twangier/cleaner stuff and one for the more aggressive. even some gnr and bon jovi every now and then. Styles range from modern country (jason aldean, kenny chesney, keith urban, tim mcgraw, dirks bentley etc) to classic country (waylon jennings, willie nelson, johnny cash, merle haggard etc) to classick/southern rock (Black Crowes, skynard, bob seger, tom petty, zeppelin, srv, etc). After having used my AxeII/MFC set up in a strictly modern worship type setting for 6-8 months, i had my first gig with a country/southern rock type band this past Friday night.
